Redwood Therapy LLC is a privately owned occupational therapy practice serving the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Redwood Therapy specializes in working with both private and AZDES - Vocational Rehabilitation Services’ clients in their homes, community settings, and / or in work settings. Redwood is growing and we are seeking a contract occupational therapist to join our team! The ideal candidate shall be a licensed occupational therapist who excels in working independently, can efficiently manage their own schedule and has exceptional communication skills. This position is especially well-suited for a highly organized individual who would enjoy managing their own part-time schedule and working in a variety of settings. The candidate must also possess accurate writing and documentation skills and be knowledgeable about a variety of neurological, physical, and psychological diagnoses. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting occupational therapy evaluations and making therapeutic recommendations; developing a plan of care that supports the client’s goals; planning and conducting treatment sessions. This position also performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of skilled occupational therapy services. Prepares and maintains a wide variety of written materials (i.e. billing invoices, correspondence, treatment plans, monthly reports, required documentation, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.
